ARTSTAND Vrijdagmarkt Gent // KASK
ARTSTAND is a multi-media conversation between a group of KASK students and the public space designed by the Vrijdagsmarkt, Gent.
During 8 weeks presence on the market, thanks to encounters, personal research and try-outs, we established interactions and connections with the sellers and the visitors. Within different art practices, approaches, aesthetics and ultimately outcomes, we aimed to understand, question and reimagine a specific social context, where a variety of people is invited to walk through and stop by.
